I'm a product designer from Melbourne, Australia in my last semester at UC Berkeley, where I study design, philosophy, math, and economics.
I'm focused on creating novel, beautiful and inclusive digital experiences, and I'm a firm believer in intersectionality in design. Often, 'human-centered design' is code for jargon and needless, exclusionary complexity - I want to prove that it isn't, and apply both my analytical skills and background in theory in a simple and elegant way.
Currently working on a thesis about power relations and the knowledge that constitutes them in product design, due at the end of 2018.
In my spare time, I'm a big fan of League of Legends eSports, hip-hop and house music (and producing it), Arsenal FC, anime, and the work of Baudrillard.
I'm also an avid videographer and motion designer. I've been shooting and editing videos for 9+ years, and founded a video and photo production team called Motion. Some highlights: working with PricewaterhouseCoopers, creating Kickstarter campaigns that have together raised over $250,000 in funding, and having work featured in publications like Mashable, Digital Trends, USA Today, and more.
