Visuals & Animation
An assortment of motion design (animations, promotional videos) and visual work (banners, flyers, branding).
InnoD is Cal's student-run creative agency, and does graphic design, photography, videography and web design for on and off campus clients.
During my time in the club, I led three video teams, served as treasurer for a year, and planned a bunch of internal events as VP of internal affairs.
Being the resident 'video and motion graphics' guy, I produced a lot of graphics and video for club events like recruitment and our annual designathons/workshop days. Typically it involved animating flyers that were already made in Illustrator or coming up with animations of my own.

I led three teams of 10 videographers, one each semester. We'd work on shooting and editing projects for clients throughout the semester, sometimes taking on event recaps, promotional videos, videos for club recruitment, gigs for small businesses, etc. For more video work, check out my writeup on Motion, my freelance video team.

SEP is Berkeley's co-ed entrepreneurship fraternity.
As an active brother, I was tasked with shaping the brand for the fraternity, and produced a whole lot of marketing and visual material. Our combined efforts led to the highest-attended rush events in our chapter's history!
For the Fall semester, the prospective theme was 'disrupt' - a little gauche and a little too on the nose, considering that our representation was mainly STEM and in the tech sector. I opted to go for 'diverge' instead - deviation from the normal path was a good way to explain the idea of entrepreneurship in college; disrupt being a buzzword lacking tact and implying some sort of hegemony.
Thematically, I wanted to keep it digital feeling - there was no denying it, our fraternity was invariably tied to engineering and computing; in our goal to recruit more underclassmen, I wanted the interest of rushees to be at least subconsciously well aligned.
